"Helping Black families achieve their birth plan and healthy birth outcomes."

Our mission is to close the gap in maternal healthcare for Black families by removing access barriers to professional Labor Support and Postpartum Support Services. Additionally, when funding is available, we provide a Doula Assistance Fund to lessen the financial burden for families seeking these services.

We offer complete Labor Support Services for a reduce fee of $1200.  Our Labor Support Specialists are trained and skilled with supporting various birthing options such as natural unmedicated births, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), waterbirths, home and hospital births. 

 

Labor Support services include:

  • Customized Birth Plan

  • Nutrition Guidance

  • Childbirth Education

  • Two In-Home Prenatal Visits

  • Personal Monthly Check-ins
  • Labor/Birth Experience

  • Breastfeeding Support
  • Two In-Home Well-Check Postpartum Visits

We offer complete Postpartum Support Services for a reduce fee of $600 for three visits. Our Postpartum Support Specialists are trained and skilled with supporting families in the immediate postpartum up to three months.

Postpartum Support services include:

  • Three Postpartum Visits (4 hours each visit)

  • Postpartum Plan Preparation

  • Breastfeeding Support

  • Newborn Care

  • Limited House Cleaning (dishes, sweeping, laundry)

  • Meal Prep

Do you need to file a grievance? If so, click here.

The members of the Atlanta Doula Collective DO NOT assist in unassisted or free births. We encourage you to hire a midwife for homebirth support.
