Prospective Member

Every year, open up the membership application for those who would like to be considered as a prospective member. Invitation to apply is extended to this who understand our mission, vision and core values, and who meet the following requirements:

• Must reside in the Atlanta Metropolitan area

• Trained or Certified Black Doula

• Active birthworker for at least one year

• Three birth attendance within the last year

• Can meet the Quarterly Membership Fee requirement ($150/quarter)

• Three recommendation letters from colleagues or former/current clients

• Has the ability to attend/participate in most of our events
